The Business Need

EVN was bringing business leaders from seven countries together in Dubai for six days. Business meetings, shared destination experiences and the Gala each served a different purpose, but the group needed to experience them as one programme.

At the time, Bright was already leading EVN’s Marketing & Events. That meant the Dubai programme sat inside a wider client relationship and needed to remain consistent with the way EVN was communicating and engaging its leadership community.

What Made the
Programme Demanding

Local delivery, business requirements, guest movement, communications and media all worked to different rhythms. Without one accountable direction, those dependencies would have become the client’s integration problem.

WHEN IT MATTERS How Bright Held
the Programme
Together

Hold the overall programme logic. Bright connected the business meeting, recognition, destination experiences and Gala so they worked as one six-day journey.

Use local capability deliberately. A Dubai-based partner brought destination knowledge and implementation capacity while Bright retained overall coordination.

Connect communications to the live programme.

Promotional content, graphics, video and related publishing were coordinated with the journey rather than added afterwards.

Embed media on site. A team travelled from Vietnam and worked throughout the trip, allowing photography, video and storytelling to follow the experience while it was happening.

Working Across Markets
Without Losing Accountability

Regional delivery does not require one supplier to do everything. It requires clear ownership of the whole. Local partners should contribute what they know best; the client should still experience one direction, one programme logic and clear accountability.

Dubai is an early example of that model in Bright’s work: local capability on the ground, central programme direction and communications connected to the experience.

When This Model Is Useful

This model is especially relevant when a programme crosses markets, involves senior or high-value participants, combines business and experience layers, and needs local partners without giving up central accountability.
